THE WEAR THE ROT MANIFESTO
WE ARE ROTTED.
Not broken. Not lost. Not in need of a digital detox or a screen-time intervention. Rotted. Glazed. Fully, deliberately, joyfully too online.
"It gave us the vocabulary for feelings that didn't have names."
THE INTERNET RAISED US.
It gave us communities in zipcodes we never lived in. It gave us memes — and memes are, if you look at them correctly, the closest thing to a shared cultural scripture our generation has produced.
WE DOCUMENT THE ROT.
Because internet culture moves at the speed of a dying meme, and someone has to slow it down long enough to understand it. We are that someone. The archivist, the translator, the person who watched the whole thing happen and took notes.
"This is the most sincere thing we know how to make."
WE WEAR THE ROT.
And when we find the right words for the right feeling, we put them on a tee. We put them on a mug. We wear the diagnosis. We serve the vibe.
THIS IS NOT IRONIC.
This is the most sincere thing we know how to make.
